Old Hararians' Ryan Butterworth has been named Man of the Series after his performances in this season's National League. The all-rounder had a batting average of 75 over the course of the contest, and managed some reasonable performances with the ball as well - although unfortunately they weren't enough to stop OH's elimination at the semi-final stage.

And yet Butterworth still hasn't had any appearances at the national level. I wonder if this award will change that.
