The first of two World Cup warm-up matches between Zimbabwe and Zimbabwe ‘A’ today saw the national side draw first blood - and to be honest, any other result would have been decidedly worrying.
Zimbabwe (259/7, 50 overs; Sibanda 52, Brent 44, Masvaure 4/58) beat Zimbabwe ‘A’ (192; Mawoyo 67, Utseya 3/44) by 67 runs.
