Another win for the national side in their second warm-up match against Zimbabwe ‘A’ on Friday, with Terrence Duffin and new boy Friday Kasteni finding some timely form ahead of the World Cup - although whether a good performance against Zim ‘A’ will count for much when it comes to meeting the big boys remains to be seen. Brendan Taylor also chipped in a handy 51 with the bat, which will no doubt come as a relief to him.
Zimbabwe (337/7; Duffin 84, Kasteni 61, Taylor 51) beat Zimbabwe A (208; Maruma 51, Mawoyo 41, Brent 3/17) by 129 runs.
