At Harare Sports Club, Keith Dabengwa heaped a pile of trouble on Northerns, taking 7 wickets and conceding just 1 run in a spell during Northerns’ first innings that lasted just 4.4 overs. The win secures Westerns’ place at the top of the tournament table with 3 wins from 3, while once-mighty Northerns (essentially the former Mashonaland side) are still without a win.

In Kwekwe, Centrals’ Michael Chinouya took 5/31 in the second innings against Southerns to ensure that the visitors fell short of the winning target, giving Central their second win of the series.

Kenya Select slid to their second defeat of the tournament against Easterns in Mutare, with figures of 3/50 & 6/91 by Prosper Utseya helping Easterns on their way.
