Archive for August, 2007
I’ll be stuck without internet access for the next week - which unfortunately means I’ll be unable to give coverage of the remaining two ODIs against South Africa. I’ll be back online next weekend (1st August), and will do a summary update & post scorecards then.
ICC President Ray Mail (formerly Cricket South Africa chief executive) is currently in Zimbabwe, to discuss with ZC what can be done to help Zim’s ongoing rebuilding process. According to the man himself…
“I am here to get first-hand information so that I can be well-informed whenever I talk to my board about Zimbabwe in […]
Zimbabwe Turn Up for 1st ODI
0 Comments Published August 22nd, 2007 in Other Teams, Results, South Africa, Test & ODI Matches, Zimbabwe Cricket…figuratively speaking, of course. After two Zimbabwe Select series where, one match excepted you wonder why the home team bothered to turn up, the 1st ODI against South Africa was actually a reasonable contest. Once again Zimbabwe’s batsmen let them down, but when defending a comparatively small total they looked keen and made […]

CSACA Beat Zimbabwe ‘A’ in 1st Four-Dayer
0 Comments Published August 21st, 2007 in A-Team Matches, Other Teams, Results, South Africa, Zimbabwe CricketVery sketchy details on this one on ZC’s website, so place a question mark over the details. End result is okay, though. zimcricket.org has match reports from the four days of the match:
Day One | Day Two | Day Three | Day Four
Zimbabwe ‘A’ 279 (Chibhabha 98) & 196 (Chakabva 32), CSA Cricket […]
