great to hear there are some activities of cricket in zimbabwe,my question is that MARK VERMEULEN is playing in this season?

Yes, he is - for Old Hararians, as usual. I believe his bail conditions prevent him from entering the grounds of Harare Sports Club, though, so he won't feature in any matches played there.

As far as I know, OH are playing Royal in Chitungwiza this weekend, so Vermeulen will be playing one would expect.

well seeing lots of national palyers leaving zim, is there any chance for players like butterworth,IRELAND,PANYANGRA TO COME BACK AND PLAY IN this ZIM domestic season?

It's possible - see what happens when the English season ends. Ireland in particular has been quite scathing about ZC, but the club competitions don't directly involve them, so having him back for at least part of the domestic season wouldn't be out of the question. I'd be surprised if he made any of the Logan Cup sides, though.

well seeing what ZIM team is lacking is the geniune fast bowler,ARE there any really quick bowler in domestic areana?. I was impressed by RAINSFORD but he lacked just a bit pace .also where are some young promising players of ZIM likes of DONALD SAMANDRU(NOT SURE ABOUT SPELL),TWAFDAZA MUFAMBISIS,HIGGINS, KISTANI and KAMONGOZI?, ARE these players are into cricket?

Quick note: Two overseas players confirmed back for the domestic season - Ryan Butterworth and Craig Ervine, both playing for Old Hararians.
