Gavin Ewing and Dion Ebrahim have both signed club contracts with New Zealand sides, effectively ruling them out of a return to the Zimbabwean side. Ewing will play for Inglewood Cricket Club in the Taranaki District Cricket League - Ebrahim's club has not yet been confirmed.

Losing Ebrahim was a big blow a few years ago. He was one of the only blokes to stand by the board, and he wasn't offered a new contract.
I felt bad for him at the time (and still do), it wasn't the treatment he deserved.
Quality player who could have had some reasonable success at international level had he been given the opportunity to continue playing. He'd be entering his prime now.
As for Ewing, he didn't really play enough for the national team to be considered a major loss, but it's not good to see anyone leave for good. At least while he was still in Zimbabwe and occasionally playing in the National League, the possibility of a return was there (albeit if the possibility was small).
