Mpofu in and mupariwa... Good decision until i found out brent and chigumbura had been dropped/Rested.

Again the selection of the team is very strange and i wonder who on the selection panel actually has experience of first class cricket

Taibu was the one to be dropped in place of williams or duffin or an extra bowler..He has done nothing all series.

Im happy that mpofu is in the squad though...Apart from chigumbura he's the one good strike bowler, mupariwa is pretty effective too and can get good movement

The whole problem this series was that we needed one extra pace bowler. Obviously the selectors don't realise that removing two pacers and adding two pacers doesn't give you that extra bowler.

Shocking, shocking decision.

Agree about Taibu. Despite his status, he hasn't been performing and should have been "rested" this match.

I would like to know what qualifications are needed to be a national selector..It seems this lot arent up to scratch

I hope that the selectors dont think that chibhabha is some kind of the second coming whe n it comes to being an allrounder

its hard to say but these decisions are rubbish how can u drop chigumbura.

Both Brent and Chigumbura have hamstring-related complaints which would have been aggravated by continued play.

If that is the case, it does explain a lot.

Still, we are very lucky the 5th ODI was rained off. Mupariwa and Mpofu I think would have conceded a lot of runs.
