ZC have announced the Zimbabwe Provinces squad to travel to Windoek for the SAA Provincial Challenge & Cup matches against Namibia:
Blessing Mahwire (captain), Regis Chakabva (wicket-keeper), Graeme Cremer, Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Friday Kasteni, Admire Manyumwa, Tinotenda Mawoyo, Keegan Meth, Bonaparte Mujuru, Taurai Muzarabani, Stephen Nyamuzinga, Edward Rainsford and Prosper Tsvanhu.
Rainsford's return is notable - also worth pointing out that, with the Pakistan squad also leaving this week, none of these players will feature on that tour.

Why isnt terry duffin in the side...he is a B listed contracted player..Surely he is not going to pakistan?
Looks like he is. He'd be a natural choice for the 4-day match - but as I wouldn't expect to see him in the ODI side, his inclusion for the Pakistan tour would strike me as a bit strange. Especially if he's using up a "quota" space...
The bowling looks very strong for the provinces with mahwire rainsford and cremer all having close to 300 first class wickets between them...batting looks a bit fragile perhaps strydom could have been included..He does have four first class centuries to his name..as many as this provinces squad provinces side combined
Doesnt make sense to me!!!!!
My mistake they have more than 300 first class wickets between them...mahwire has close to 150 alone..very strong bowling attack on paper
And Cremer has 113 First Class wickets in 33 games. Not bad really. 13 of them are Test wickets.
Mahwire is a much improved all-rounder than when he first started out in 2001 internationally...He has hit a test 50 against new zealand and scored a crucial 40 odd when zim beat pakistan A in 2005 in a one dayer.
Coventry could and should have been selected even if he doesnt play as a keeper he is a good enough player as a batsman alone.
Dont know much about chakva though he has been stringing together some moderate to good scores of late.
Good to see some left armers in the zimbabwe squad.. i think we have another emerging left arm seamer but his name secapes me now
