Stumps: Zimbabwe Provinces 339/6 decl (Chakabva 118*, Klazinga 2/46), Namibia 30/1 (Botha 18, Mawhire 1/1).
Not a bad start for Provinces, despite some of their kit going missing somewhere around Johannesburg airport. Regis Chakbva claimed his maiden first-class century, while most of the Zim batsmen made good contributions, with just Tino Mawoyo (15) and Keegan Meth (8) falling short. Provinces declared before close of play, apparently looking to push for a win over the three days instead of settling for a draw - Namibia had just 9 overs to face before the close, but Blessing Mawhire put in an excellent display to remove Botha and leave the home side looking wobbly. Scorecard for the day is below the cut.

Sorry this is not directly related to the post, but writing from England I have an interest in Greg Strydom. Please could someone let me know where I can find up to date scores and stats for Zim domestic cricket?
many thanks
DGW: If they were available, we'd have 'em - Zimbabwe Cricket are unbelievably bad at providing any sort of up-to-date figures (it was six months after the end of the Logan Cup last year before the official scorecards were released), so the simple answer is that - for this season, anyway - there are no figures available. As far as I'm aware, Greg has been playing at club level this year, but that's as good as I can do for you...
