Logan Cup 'B' Gets Underway with New Format

The Logan Cup 'B' competition gets underway next Wednesday (9th April), and perhaps in an effort to improve standards it has a new format - instead of the 5 teams that compete for the 'A' trophy, there will be just 3 sides in this competition, imaginatively named Red, Green and Gold. Side will play 3-day matches in a round-robin competition (therefore 2 matches each), with the team finishing top on points lifting the trophy.

The sides are drawn from the existing 10 provinces as follows:
Red: Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland East, Manicaland and Harare Metropolitan
Green: Midlands, Mashonaland West and Masvingo
Gold: Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South and Bulawayo Metropolitan
