We’ve joined up with brmtaylor.com to launch zimcricketforums.com - probably the only forum on the internet that’s dedicated to Zimbabwean cricket. The new site won’t change what we do here - I’ll still be posting all the news I can find on Zimbabwean cricket, and you’re all still welcome to use the comment features here to have your say on the news - but the new site will allow fans of Zimbabwe cricket to talk about anything relevant to the game, instead of being more-or-less restricted to talking about what I’ve written about here.
The site is open now - there may still be a little tweaking going on behind the scenes, but we wanted to launch before the 1st ODI tomorrow, so please don’t mind the “wet paint”. Drop over and say hello.

I go away for a few days, and all hell breaks loose. After performing surprisingly well against South Africa, Zimbabwe have a new coach and just maybe some new optimism - although comments that they could be the best in the world within 3 years are probably just a little over-the-top. More later as I catch up with things.
I’ll be stuck without internet access for the next week - which unfortunately means I’ll be unable to give coverage of the remaining two ODIs against South Africa. I’ll be back online next weekend (1st August), and will do a summary update & post scorecards then.
We’re in the process of moving the site to a new back-end at the moment - the worst of the work is done, but there’ll be a few days of tweaking to be done before we’re fully up-and-running again.
There’ll be a short break in updates now, with the next update being on the 9th September. Being a one-man site, I’ll unfortunately be unable to cover Tuesday’s final on the day, but normal service will resume on Friday.
